I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t outdoors. From earliest childhood until today I feel incomplete unless some time isn’t spent weekly in the forests or on the water for here peace is but a glance away. From something as beautiful as a single ray of sunlight striking the delicate tracery of an isolated fern and bathing it in a glow of golden light to a spotted fawn bounding through the woods after its mother natures simplicity and absolute truth always soothes. Nature is gentle and poetic and at times bloody and brutal, but it’s never slanted or untrue.
